Well, the job situation is looking up. I don't want to jinx it so I'm not going to say much here. I'll just say that it seems that someone/something heard me bitching about the crappy job prospects.

My friend Nykki is coming to visit tomorrow. She needs help with an assignment and we have some other stuff planned as well. I'm hoping to get a new tattoo tomorrow.

Rudy and I looked at an awesome duplex in Yakima. It's HUGE. I couldn't believe how much space there was, and the price was phenomenal. It's through a Home Source office, and I don't know how they are ... so I'm kind of paranoid about it. I hate to hand someone $20 for an application fee, only to be told "Sorry, we're renting to someone else and you have to pay us this each time you apply." That's bullshit ... that's extortion in my book.

I just don't know sometimes. I want to move out of this town so badly. I guess I have to keep my chin up about it.

Well, time to log off and get some work done on The Enemy of My Enemy ... and then play some Legend of Dragoon.

good luck. I hope that both work out for you.
I'm pretty sure application fees go towards a credit check. At least thats how its been in my experience. And once you're credit is approved, they usually keep it on file until they have an apartment available. But thats only here in Florida. I don't know about where you are.

Thanks a lot. :) I hope they do, too. And I'll keep everyone updated.

Yeah, I don't know how they work it. Some places are weird with that crap. I'll be asking them tomorrow when we apply (something came up, we couldn't take care of it yesterday). Because, well, if it's an every time fee I pretty much want to tell someone that once approved we'll put down the deposits and everything and start packing.

Yeah. Best to be careful when it comes to things like that. too many people are ripping each other off nowadays.

Yeah, not to mention now we have to pay for Renter's Insurance.

Renters insurance is a good thing to have, when you have a lot of stuff that is valuable. TV's, computers, other electronics, expensive furniture kind of thing. I don't have it because well.. all my furniture came from dumpster diving. :lmao:

I'm a tech brat so I have it. I worked too hard to accumulate my things to have some lowlife bastard rip me off and I'm screwed.
